Rock for Vets!

The band is gearing-up for the 3rd Annual Rock for Vets this Saturday night the 28th at the Hiawatha Bar & Grill in Sturtevant.  What makes this event special is you not only get to help the vets, you get to thank the vets for the freedom & security we enjoy from their sacrifice. There will be a lot of vets there and we can't wait to shake their hands, thank them for their service and rock their world for a night.  This is a call to action for HWY 13 fans...If you can make it there...make it there!!!

Adding to the drama, the new HWY 13 CD is mastered & the cover art was sent for production. Will the CD-maker deliver in time for Rock for Vets...or won't they?  We probably won't know until that day, so there's only one way to find out...get your ass down to the Hiawatha that night!

Now let's suppose...just suppose...you're not a HWY 13 fan and our highly-polished live act isn't enough to get you off the couch watching reruns of reality shows about spoon collectors, or celebrity canasta on ESPN 8...The Ocho.  The whole lineup is amazing:
  • Downstairs 6:30-7:30: Fall Hazard (Masters of Alternative/New Rock)
  • Upstairs 6:45-7:45: Woody (Masters of Classic Rock)
  • Downstairs 7:50-8:50: Zicomatic (Classic Rock & Originals Super-Group)
  • Upstairs 8:05-9:05: Mean Jake (Rockin' Rhythm & Blues Legends)
  • Downstairs 9:10-10:10: Bull Frog (Rock With Heavy Artillery...Keyboards)
  • Upstairs 9:25-10:25: HWY 13 (Possibly The Best HWY 13 Cover Band Ever)
  • Upstairs 10:45-???: Razor's Edge (AC/DC Anyone?!?)
If this doesn't get you off the couch to help the vets, then you deserve programming like Clog-Dancing with the Extras.  Why stay home eating junk food watching Parking Wars marathons when you can work 5 lbs off your hips, thighs & buttocks climbing up & down the stairs bumping into people of the opposite...direction...to see all these great bands?

Well, this horse is about dead so I'll stop beating it now.  Have a great weekend, keep rockin' and hope to see you at Rock for Vets. (Sorry.....nothing more dangerous than a mortally wounded horse.)
